Developing good technique is an important factor in avoiding injuries and progressing to higher levels of athletic ability.  Without good technique, even naturally gifted athletes will tend to plateau.

Focus on one or two techniques at a time.  Always have some technique that you are working on perfecting. Ask the coach if you are confused about a particular technique.

Here is a good video series from Netflix that is helpful to watch.  It has a DVD for each position.
