Baseball

After much consideration the board of directors has decided not to continue the Baseball Program, and to remain focused on Football and Cheer.

The Royals are starting a new baseball program that might be a fit for some of our current players.

Below is a letter sent to the players and their families.

Parents and Players,

Hope everyone is doing great over the Summer Break. I wanted to get an email out to everyone in Regards to some transition that is happening with the Falcons Baseball Team. As many of you may know, Myself and Coach Scott McNeill (Bastrop Warriors) are very close friends and also started the Warriors together a few years back. The opportunity has presented itself for us to develop a new Varsity Team for the Austin Area which will remain based as a Christian Faith Team, but will have a longer season with more traveling and tournament ball play. This opportunity presented itself in late April, so again it has took some time for me to make a final decision. Myself and my family truly treasure the relationships within the Falcons Organization and the many families that we have grown to know and love. We have made the decision to leave the Falcons Organization to develop a new Select Varsity Baseball Team in partnership with the McNeill Family. This Team will remain a Austin Based team for ages (15-18).

The Wilco Falcons Home School Sports after much consideration has decided not to continue the Baseball Program, and to remain focused on Football and Cheer. Both of these Programs are excellent programs for your son or daughter to be involved in. For any questions you can contact Scott Diesing or Rita Diesing by visiting the Website at www.wilcofootball.org.

I would also like to thank the Falcons Families, Scott Diesing, Rita Diesing, and the board for the great support over the past 2 years of Baseball seasons. We appreciate each and everyone of you, and hope to see many of you at some upcoming football games this season.
