All of this is somewhat tentative due to the possibility of game changes or not being able to secure a certain practice field. But it should be a decent guide and will be mostly correct. The Young Jr. High (ages 11-12) will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Practice will run from 8/20 - 10/15. The Jr. High will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays and some Mondays (8/12, 8/19, 8/26, 9/30, 10/21, 10/28). The first practice will be 8/12. First day will be full pads. Jr. High's last practice will be 10/29. The High School will practice Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with a few exceptions (9/9 JV, 10/7, 10/28, 11/25). High school players should lift weights (45 minute workout with low weights and high reps) on Wednesday and Saturdays. High school practice will begin on 8/5 - no pads. Wear helmets on 8/8 and full pads starting 8/12. High school practice will go as long as we are still in the playoffs. Possibly until 11/26. JV players who are not likely to get much playing time may continue with the team through the playoffs or stop practicing on 10/29. |
